OLC Lending Library - The library is up and running in the Parish Hall so you may check out books. Also, please check your home library to see if you have any Catholic books you no longer need and would like to donate.

Inquiry Classes (RCIA) - Those interested in becoming a Catholic, inactive Catholics wishing to renew their faith, and Catholics desiring to strengthen their faith are invited to join our Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program.

Baptisms - Children are always welcomed for Baptism provided there is a commitment from the parents to rear the child according to the Catholic faith. Parents are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class which is to be taken at least two months before the baptism.

Sacrament of Reconciliation - Confessions are heard before and after most Masses and by appointment with Fr. Perko. No confessions are heard after the Saturday Vigil mass because Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place at that time.

First Holy Communion - A child must be seven years old or in the second grade and must complete two consecutive years in the OLC Parish Religious Education Program to receive.

Confirmation - A child must be in the eighth grade or thirteen years old and must complete two consecutive years in the OLC Parish Religious Education Program to receive.

                   A Special Notice for Home Schooled Children

       The child must complete either two consecutive years of the OLC Parish Religious Education Program OR a home-based religious education program with an approved curriculum. Approval is based upon review of the curriculum and/or through an informal evaluation of student knowledge by Fr. Richard Perko. In addition, the student must complete the OLC Parish Sacramental Preparation Program prior to receiving the Sacrament.

Marriage - Couples planning to be married should contact Fr. Perko at least eight months in advance of the wedding date. All engaged couples must take a Marriage Preparation Course.

Anointing of the Sick - When a loved one is seriously ill or in the hospital, please call the Parish Office or Fr. Richard Perko directly at 386-209-0231. A priest will visit as soon as possible.

Holy Orders - If God may be calling you to nourish His people as a priest, please email vocations@dosafl.com.

Professional Counseling - Professional counseling by a licensed Catholic therapist is available from St. Vincent's Health Care at multiple locations throughout Jacksonville. Counseling is available for families, couples, and individuals. Areas of counseling include marital problems, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, addictions, and more.
